Return the car with plenty of charge
and get a discount 🎁.
How much charge you leave in the car when you return it is worth something to you. Return it with plenty of charge and you get a discount. Return it with less and there's a small extra charge. It's a new rule to help you enjoy EV car sharing in comfort.

Bonuses and penalties are based on the battery level (%) at return compared with the level at pickup.
While you have the car, tap “Share car” in the app to see your discount and any extra charges as they stand right now.
Discounts off the share charge
Bonuses
There are three incentives that take money off the share charge.
Charging bonus
Returned with at least 10% more charge than at pickup
¥500 discount
Returned with at least 20% more charge than at pickup
¥600 discount
Returned with at least 30% more charge than at pickup
¥700 discount
High-charge return bonus
Returned with the battery at 80% or above
¥300 discount
Low-charge compensation
Battery level at pickup was 25% or below
¥1,000 discount

Return the car with plenty of charge.
Charge before you return and up to ¥1,000 comes off!
If the battery was low at pickup too, the two stack up to ¥2,000 off.
You can use more than 130 Tesla Supercharger sites across Japan.
There is nothing to set up.
When you arrive at a Tesla Supercharger, simply plug the car in and charging starts.
* If you leave the car at a Tesla Supercharger after charging finishes, any idle fee is your responsibility.

Each bonus and each penalty applies independently of the others.

Battery level at pickup: 25%
Battery level at return: 11%
Total: ¥1,000 extra charge
Because the battery level at pickup was 25% or below | ¥1,000 discount
Because the car was returned with the battery at 15% or below | ¥2,000 extra charge
Notes on the program
Everything is added together
When you return the car, the system calculates your Charging Incentive Program total.
Every bonus that earns a discount and every penalty that adds an extra charge is added together, based on the condition of the car, to determine the final amount.
How the figure is measured
The calculation is based on the car's battery level as a percentage (%) at pickup and at return.
It is not based on km (range).
If an extra charge applies
It is billed automatically to the credit card or other payment method you registered when booking.
If the payment does not go through because of a problem with the card, we will issue a payment link so you can pay with another card.
If a discount applies
A discount under the Charging Incentive Program is processed as a partial refund of the share charge you have already paid.
You can see the amount discounted on your credit card statement.
