Non-Operation Charge and Related Charges
Prohibited conduct, penalties and loss-of-use compensation
The Company sets out rules and prohibited conduct so that every customer can use BOXIV SHARE in comfort.
Where one of these prohibitions is breached, the Company will claim compensation for any loss that arises.
If an accident, theft, breakdown, soiling or similar makes it necessary to repair or clean the vehicle,
the amounts below will be charged as compensation for the loss of use over that period (a Non-Operation Charge, or NOC).
Accidents

*1 The Company charges the actual cost for grossly excessive speed on public roads, driving on a racetrack, driving by anyone other than the person who made the booking or a registered additional driver, failure to report an accident to the Company when it occurs, an accident after the return time has passed, or an accident caused by gross negligence.
*2 Where a vehicle without winter equipment is taken into a snowy area and left there, it is treated as having been abandoned deliberately.
*3 As an exception, a pet may ride with you if you use a pet carrier, a pet bag, the pet seat cover we offer as a gear option or similar, and take steps to keep the interior from being soiled.
With the Double Peace of Mind option, the deductible is ¥0 and the NOC is waived!
Parking violations
If a parking violation notice is affixed to the car during your rental, you must take care of the violation.
Where a Member has committed a parking violation while using a vehicle but fails to appear at the police station, or appears but does not pay the fine, the Company will pay the abandoned-vehicle penalty in accordance with an order to pay that penalty issued under Article 51-4, Paragraph 4 of the Road Traffic Act.
Where the Company has paid such a penalty, where the Company has borne the cost of tracing the Member who committed the parking violation or the cost of moving, storing or recovering the vehicle, or where the Prefectural Public Safety Commission has imposed a restriction on the use of the vehicle (a driving ban), the Company will charge the amounts set out below and will at the same time revoke the Member's membership.
If you commit a parking violation
Report to the police station named on the violation notice.
*We will contact you as soon as we hear from the police.
Complete the required procedures and pay the fine and any other amounts due.
Return the vehicle.
Submit the documents you received from the police, the receipt, and any other paperwork.
If the parking violation is not dealt with
If the violation has not been dealt with by the time the vehicle is returned, you shall bear the parking violation penalty separately determined by the Company.
The same applies to other violations.
